Networking Meetings

We hold two monthly events that member business host at their location on a rotating basis. Our networking breakfast is scheduled from 8 – 9:30 AM on the first Tuesday of the month. These meetings are FREE and in addition to our members, we welcome potential members who’d like to learn more about the Chamber. Non-members are also invited attend our monthly after-hours event. These events usually cost $10 for members and $15 for non-members.  

Non-members can attend one or two networking events before deciding whether to join the Chamber.

Networking Breakfasts

Chamber breakfasts provide members with an opportunity to present themselves and their businesses, products and services to other Chamber members and prospective members. This helps them expand their business relationships and connect with the pulse of business and government in Mountainside, Fanwood, Scotch Plains, Garwood and Westfield. A networking breakfast consists of:

  • Continental breakfast provided by the host
  • 60 minutes of networking
  • Introductions – 30 seconds per attendee
  • Business overview of the event sponsor
  • Chamber business
  • Drawing for free attendance at next after-hours networking event

Attendees are asked to bring their business cards and a PDF of all business cards gathered at the event will be emailed to Chamber members only.  
 

Evening Networking Reception

 Members and prospective members network and meet potential customers in a cocktail party environment. Beverages and food are provided by the event sponsor.

  • Time for networking/refreshments
  • Introductions – 30 seconds per attendee
  • Business overview of the event sponsor
  • Welcome to new members/announcements
  • Drawing for free attendance at next after-hours networking event

Attendees are asked to bring their business cards and a PDF of all business cards gathered at the event will be emailed to Chamber members only.
