Hosting/Workshop Opportunities

Promote your business or organization by inviting people to your location for a breakfast or happy hour networking event. Hosting an event will allow other professionals to become familiar with you and your business. Several of our members do not have an appropriate facility to hold an event. No worries! The GWACC has you covered. You can hold your event in our offices or through another non-competing member. Just let us know. We have several to chose from!

Traditionally, a breakfast networking host would provide coffee, juice, and pastries or bagels. We will manage the advertising and registrations. As well as greeting and checking in members upon arrival. As the host you will have an opportunity to tell the group about your products and/or services.

Happy hour hosts serve wine/beer, water and light appetizers. The GWACC does charge $10. 50% of the registration fee is paid back to the host to help cover the cost of the event. As with a breakfast event, we will manage the advertising and registrations/payments. As well as greeting and checking in members upon arrival. To thank you as the host, you will have the opportunity to inform the group about your products and/or services.

From time to time, the GWACC holds a public workshop. These workshops are meant to highlight 2-3 members whose businesses compliment each other. The workshop is meant to be informative and not a sales pitch. Workshops can be held in a library, our offices or another non-completing member.

If you are interested in hosting a networking event or workshop, please contact Heather our event specialist. Due to the popularity of this benefit, we are currently booking 6 months out. So please give us plenty of notice.
