Repairer of Broken Walls, Inc. (RoBW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation based in New Jersey which started in 2017, it has created programs that caters to at-risk youth by providing skill learning opportunities in the area of landscaping. We in ROBW work with community partners and the urban youth ages 16-24 years old to conduct activities promoting vocational skills and community revitalization.
We aim to make community building as an integral part of the development of the youth. Our community building activities include but are not limited to community clean up and beautification, blight prevention, sustainability projects, job readiness and trade skills training, and on the job training of landscaping operating all around northern New Jersey.
ROBW is designed to promote awareness for the youth of the future. The organization serves as a platform where the younger members of the community, especially those who are disadvantaged and have been left out by the school system, can give back to the members of their neighborhood. The services we provide through our community building projects serve all, however, we prioritize serving those who need most of our help particularly, the elderly, veterans, and single mothers. The youth in our programs offer services such as mowing lawns, shoveling snow, raking leaves and more, free of charge. The youth who we work with are able to experience a great sense of achievement while also developing their social skills and lawn care abilities.
